The PAL-1, our most popular digital refractometer, works perfectly in measuring almost any liquid, whether fruit juice, food puree, beverages, soup, sauces, ketchup, tomato sauce, or low-sugar jam, or marmalade. PAL series refractometers are equipped with NFC (Near Field Communication) data transfer technology. 

MAGIC is available for hot samples to cool down quickly and minimize evaporation to stabilize your measurement.

I've tried other Brix testers, but this is one of the best. It's compact, portable, durable, and simple to use. The NFC feature is really neat.
